Hydraulic Lifters. Great quality at a great price. Use these with both stock
and performance cams, including our cams listed above. These will function
perfectly UP TO 6000 RPM. If you intend on turning the engine above 6000, we
recommend going to our anti pump up lifters below. Distance from the bottom
face of the lifter to the bottom of the oiling groove is 1.140" Groove width

"Hylift" American made Heavy Duty
Anti-Pump Up Hydraulic Lifters. These lifters feature a high strength, steel
retainer used in place of the normal spring clip. This limits precisely the
travel of the plunger during operation. With plunger travel limited,
ADJUSTABLE ROCKER ARMS MUST BE USED. Set valve lash to .000/.002. This
allows the valve train to perform more like a mechanical system, allowing
higher RPM's (above 6000). Because of the higher RPM capability and the elimination of
frequent valve adjustment (as solid or mechanical lifters require) these are
the choice for better all around performance in applications which will see
above 6000 rpm. However you MUST USE adjustable rocker arms along with the
