Engine Mounts

This page covers the rubber "biscuit" type mounts, commonly called "motor mounts." This page only covers applications where the rubber insulator is a separate piece from the bracket which bolts to the block. In some instances, such as the early Chrysler "floating power" mounts and the later style "spool" type mounts, the bracket and insulator are a single unit and they will be covered on the Engine Support Brackets page. Our high quality aftermarket mounts feature die stamped steel plates attached to a compression molded rubber cushion, complete with threaded studs, locating pins and welded cage nuts where applicable, just like the originals. Shown above is our most popular mount, Chrysler # 2536121, and it may also be 2863735. Used on B bodies from 1966-72, C bodies from 1966-73 and E bodies from 1970-74 Use 2 per car.

The engineers at Dynatech have taken our most popular mounts (part #101-1063 above) and converted them into a 21st century design. These mounts provide the best of all worlds: The vibration dampening ability of a stock rubber mount with the torque handling ability of a solid steel mount. These custom engineered mounts feature an internal steel structure which "locks up" under heavy acceleration, effectively turning the mount "solid," and strong enough to lift up the car by! These fit B bodies from 1966-72, C bodies from 1966-73 and E bodies from 1970-74 Sold as a pair only.

Shown above is the solid version of the above mounts, which replace Chrysler # 2536121. Used on B bodies from 1966-72, C bodies from 1966-73 and E bodies from 1970-74. These are the strongest possible way to go, but they will also transfer ALL the engine vibration into the chassis. NOT for street use. These can be used on both sides, or on just the left (torque) side. Includes 1 mount. May be original finish as shown or painted black. Limited availability.

Shown above is our replacement insert for all "Spool" type mount brackets on our Engine support brackets page. The old rubber must be removed from the mount and replaced with this new insert. Works for both sides.

Shown above is Chrysler # 2402183, used on late '62 to '65 B bodies on the Left (drivers) side only. Can also be used on left hand applications for original big block 1965 C body and 1967-69 A bodies, but ONLY when used with our special 119-1006  left hand bracket.

Part No: 101-1068 - Engine Mount - Early Left - New. Price: $18.95

This is the mirror image mate for the above mount, Chrysler # 2402182, used on late '62 to '65 B bodies on the Right (passenger) side only. This mount is also used on 1966-71 B bodies, and 70-71 E bodies with 426 HEMI'S ONLY, AND 1965 C bodies, again for the RIGHT side only.

Shown above is Chrysler # 3632998, used on Trucks, vans, and Ramchargers from 1972 until the last year big blocks were offered. (1978/79). Use 2 per vehicle. Also an excellent mount for engine swaps due to its universal design.
