Up for sale is a 2009 Lance camper 1191 model. This is one of the biggest models they make, requires a full size 8' truck bed, and dual rear wheels are recommended. We are the original owner, and the camper has been used only a handful of times. You will be amazed at the amount of interior space on this thing. It's nearly as big as most 20' RV's. Sleeps 6 adults, or 4 kids and 4 adults. This is fully loaded with great features (most are detailed below) such as Flat screen TV with surround sound and satellite TV antenna. Has solar panels for charging batteries, fold down tent in rear. Fully self contained with full shower/bath, fresh water and holding tanks, water heater, heat and A/C, ONAN generator, refrigerator, full kitchen, etc.
These are over $42K new (plus tax). Price is firm at $19,900.
The truck is a 2008 Dodge Mega Cab Long Bed. If you are familiar with these trucks, you will know they don't make a long bed Mega Cab, we had to have the truck's frame lengthened along with the driveshaft/wiring/brake lines, etc at a custom shop. We would be willing to sell the truck and camper as a package deal, please inquire if interested. One thing that is nice about this setup is that it is a 6.7 Cummins Turbo Diesel (over 300 horsepower and 600 ft/lbs torque) with 4 wheel drive, meaning this setup will pretty much go anywhere, making it WAY more versatile than most regular RV's.
Passenger side view. Entry door is on this side, also has fold out awning.
Drivers side view. Slide out is visible over rear wheels.
Rear view. The rear has the fold down tent option (great for kids/dogs, etc.) Also has backup camera installed, (visible in upper center.) You can also see storage compartment on lower right, auxiliary battery compartment (lower center) and ONAN generator on lower left.
Camper front view.
Overall shot of interior. Bedroom has partition to close it off from the rest of the camper. Dinette table makes into a bunk bed. Still has the factory plastic covering on the carpet.
Shot of the bedroom. Open-able Skylight (with sun shade closed) is visible in between the surround sound speakers. Reading lights above the bed are nice for those cozy nights camping.
Left side of the bed has the mirror door closet, as well as extra storage space. Bedroom is wired for satellite TV.
Right side of the bed. Close up of partition and more storage cabinets above the window.
Looking forward from the bed, you can see the flatscreen TV. This can face rearward for watching in bed, or it can be swung around for watching in the living area or dining table. This TV works with the onboard DVD player and surround sound, which all runs off the accessory batteries, so there is no need to run the generator when watching TV or movies.
Moving forward to the kitchen area, you can see the camper has a good size kitchen with solid surface countertops, double sink, microwave and range. Tons of storage space underneath the sink.
Close up of countertops and range. Range runs on propane (LP) gas.
Close up of the range with the cover folded away to show the burners.
Next to the range is the pantry and the fridge. Dual mode fridge runs on either AC power (when plugged in or when generator is running) or LP gas, when power is not available.
Showing the pantry door open with pull out shelving. Plenty of room for lots of food.
Inside of fridge. Plenty of room for lots of items. Condition (like everything in the camper) is like brand new.
Above the range is the convection oven/microwave combo.
Also in the kitchen area is the control panels for the camper systems. These will tell you the charge condition of the batteries, the levels of the fresh water, grey water and black water tanks. Also has the on/off controls for the water heater and water pump, and the start/stop for the generator. Notice the generator has only 103 hours on it, almost brand new.
To the rear of the kitchen (by the entry door) is the lighting controls, slide out control, and fire extinguisher, along with the fold up countertop panel next to the sink which helps to increase the countertop space available while cooking, etc.
Across from the kitchen is the dinette table area, which is setup inside of the slide-out. Full storage drawers are underneath the seats.
At night, the dinette easily converts into a bed in just a few seconds.
If desired, there is also a bunk bed complete with "tent" (the kids love this) on the upper level above the dinette bed area. This setup can easily sleep 4 kids.
Finally moving to the bathroom, you have a large medicine cabinet, full flushing toilet, sink, very large under-cabinet storage, etc.
Close up of sink/toilet area.
Close up of inside shower area. Sorry my camera does not have a wide enough angle of lens to capture the entire shower area. The camper also has an outside shower for rinsing off at the beach, etc.
