Gaskets & Seals |

Shown above is our 112-1000 Gasket
Kit. You can't beat this kit for the price. This kit will fit all big block
engines, and is supplied with composite head gaskets complete with steel
reinforcement around the cylinder area. (See picture below.) Beware of some
kits that supply cheaper steel shim head gaskets.![]()
This kit
includes the following gaskets: This kit does not include the valley pan (bathtub) steel intake gasket. (Sold separately below.) The oil pump to block gasket and O ring are not included, they come with new oil pumps, or we sell them separately below. Compressed thickness on these head gaskets is .044" We figure the compression ratios of our pistons with an .039" gasket, so using these gaskets instead will lower your compression by about .01 (one tenth of a point) or so. Gaskets may differ slightly from photo in appearance, type, color etc. Sets will occasionally change what specific gaskets are included, so the information in the list above is up-to-date for the sets we currently have on the shelf. Please use the list above for accurate information, not the picture. Appearance of some gaskets may differ slightly from the picture from time to time. If you are running a windage tray, an extra oil pan gasket will also be required, see below for details. Part No: 112-1000 - Gasket Kit - Price: $49.95 |

| We also sell our head gaskets
separately. These are the same head gaskets that are supplied in our
complete kit above. We offer them separately for convenience or for service
replacement. These fit all big blocks, all years. They are sold individually
(one single gasket,) so be sure to order two if you need a set. Compressed
thickness on these head gaskets is .044" They are treated with a coating, so
no chemicals or sealers are necessary for installation. Just clean your deck
surfaces, bolt 'em on and go. Recommended up to 12:1 compression. Part No: 112 -1004 - Cylinder Head Gasket - Contains 1 gasket - Price: $12.95 |

| We also
carry FEL-PRO Permatorque head gaskets. These are a premium gasket with Fel-Pro's
patented blue stripe non-stick surface. We've been using these with great
success for many years. These fit all big blocks, all years, with bore sizes
from stock all the way up to 4.500". They are sold individually
(one single gasket,) so be sure to order two if you need a set. Compressed
thickness on these head gaskets is .039" They are treated with a coating, so
no chemicals or sealers are necessary for installation. Just clean your deck
surfaces, bolt 'em on and go. Recommended up to 12:1 compression. Part No: 138 -1014 - Fel-Pro Cylinder Head Gasket - Contains 1 gasket - Price: $19.95 |

| Shown above is our brand new steel bathtub
intake gaskets. These are available for an "RB" (413/426W/440) or "B"
engines. "B" (361/383/400) engines use a slightly narrower version of this
gasket because of the lower deck height (which puts the heads a bit closer
together.)
We recommend using these with our 112-1005 intake "facing" gaskets. Part No: 112 -1001 - Intake Valley Pan Gasket - "RB" - New - Price: $19.95 Part No: 112 -1002 - Intake Valley Pan Gasket - "B" - New - Price: $16.95 |

| Shown
here is our .062" intake manifold gaskets. Made from .062" thick,
somewhat rigid compressed fiber gasket material, these are sold in a set of
2. They are designed to work with our aftermarket sheet metal type valley
pans, such as part number 127-1009, 127-1010, 127-1011 and 127-1012, where
the valley pan stops at the deck surface of the cylinder head, and the
intake manifold bolts directly to the face of the cylinder head, with only
one gasket per side being used. These interchange with Mr. Gasket # 301. Part No: 144 -1003 - Intake Manifold Gaskets - .062" Thick - Set of 2 - Price: $14.95 |

| Shown
here is our intake manifold "facing" gaskets. Made from .021" thick gasket
facing material, these are sold in a set of 4, and are designed to work with
the factory replacement type valley pans listed on our gaskets section. We
recommend using one gasket on either side of the port area of the valley pan
to aid in sealing, and to allow for the expansion and contraction of
aluminum intake manifolds. These interchange with Fel-Pro # 1216. The heat
crossovers are deleted but can be easily cut out if needed with a razor
blade or x-acto knife. These can also be used as standard intake
gaskets with aftermarket style valley pans if the .021" material is
preferred. Part No: 112 -1005 - Intake "Facing" gaskets - Set of 4 - Price: $14.95 |

| We also sell our oil pan gaskets
separately. These are the same oil pan gaskets that are supplied in our
complete kit above, however when running a windage tray, two are required
(one on the top, and one on the bottom of the tray.) We offer them
separately so you can get the extra one needed if you are running a windage
tray. These fit all big blocks, all years. Part No: 112 -1003 - Oil Pan Gasket - Price: $9.95 |

| We now carry carburetor base gaskets.
These are for Holley 4150 carbs. Don't get stuck putting that new stroker
motor together and realize you remembered to order everything except the
carb gasket. We also carry other carburetor essentials such as fuel lines,
return spring kits, carb stud kits, etc. See our
FUEL SYSTEMS page for details. Part No: 121 -1039 - Carb Base Gasket - Price: $6.95 |

| We also offer an upgraded VITON
fluoroelastomer rear seal. Viton is made by Dupont, and has much
greater resistance to high temperatures than standard rubber. It also
doesn't have a tendency to dry out and shrink over time while sitting, which
makes it a great choice for cars which will sit for months or weeks in
between being driven. Overall, Viton is considered a top of the line
material to use for rear seal applications. One more way to combat those
pesky rear seal leaks. These fit all big blocks, all years. Our 144-1000 kit
includes both upper and lower seal halves. Part No: 144 -1000 - Viton Rear Seal - Price: $24.95 |

| We also offer upgraded VITON
fluoroelastomer rear seal end strips. These are the small strips which fit
down the sides of the rear seal cap and seal it to the block. These are a
huge improvement over the standard style paper or cardboard strips. Viton is made by Dupont, and has much
greater resistance to high temperatures than standard rubber. It also
doesn't have a tendency to dry out and shrink over time while sitting, which
makes it a great choice for cars which will sit for months or weeks in
between being driven. Overall, Viton is considered a top of the line
material to use for these rear seal end strip applications. One more way to combat those
pesky rear seal leaks. These fit all big blocks, all years. Our 144-1001 kit
includes a package of (2) end strips. Part No: 144 -1001 - Viton Rear Seal End Strips Kit - Price: $7.95 |

|

gasket sets. We now offer them separately for convenience. Part No: 112 -1013 - "Black" Type Rear Seal - Price: $14.95 |

|
We also carry water pump
housing to engine block gaskets. Sold as a pair. These are the same gaskets
that come in our complete gasket sets. We now offer them separately for
convenience when doing water pump or cam swaps, etc. Part No: 112 -1006 - Water Pump Housing to Block Gaskets - Set of 2 - Price: $7.95 |

|
We also carry water pump
to housing gaskets. These are the nice thick ones which work great with our
water pump & housing combos. Use one per engine. Part No: 112 -1008 - Water Pump to Housing Gasket- Price: $6.95 |

| We now offer
replacement oil pump gaskets. For some strange reason, these are not offered
separately or included in ANY gasket sets from any of the major gasket
suppliers such as Fel-pro, Victor, Rol, etc, and they are nearly impossible
to find. Many of the gasket companies list "Oil Pump Gasket" in their
catalogs, but under the description, the part is listed as an "o-ring", so
it is actually the standard rubber o-ring which fits around the drive area
of the pump, not the gasket. In fact, we found the ONLY way to get the
gasket itself was to order a new oil pump from Melling, since they included
a gasket with the pump. The only problem is that they throw the gasket in
the same box with the pump, and the during shipping the pumps' sharp
machined edges usually tear the gasket to shreds. So, we've sourced these
hard to find gaskets and now offer them for sale separately. Another "pain
in the butt" big block Mopar problem made simple and inexpensive by 440
Source! Part No: 144 -1002 - Oil Pump Gasket - Price: $7.95 |

| We now offer
replacement timing cover seals. These are the same seals included in our
complete gasket kit. We now offer them separately for convenience when doing
timing cover swaps, etc. Part No: 112 -1007 - Timing Cover Seal - Price: $7.95 |

| We now offer
replacement timing cover gaskets. These are made from compressed fiber. They
are the same gaskets which are included in our complete gasket kit. We now
offer them separately for convenience when doing timing cover swaps, etc. Part No: 112 -1010 - Timing Cover Gasket - Price: $7.95 |

| We now offer
