Intake Manifolds Edelbrock sells basically 6 different "styles" or types of intake manifolds. Each style of intake manifold has characteristics which made it ideal for the application in which it is intended to function. Decades of design and testing, and being at the forefront of intake manifold technology give Edelbrock valuable insights into which characteristics work best under certain conditions. #1: The most mild of their intakes is the "Performer" series. These are one step up from a stock manifold, and they function from idle to 5500 RPM. These are great for stock iron headed cars which will see only street use, or for truck/RV applications. If you are using any type of aftermarket aluminum heads, or a cam above .500" lift, we recommend going to the next step, which is the Performer RPM intakes. #2: As a step up from the Performer, the "Performer RPM" is designed for a dual purpose street/strip car. They designed the Performer RPM as a cross between a single plain and a dual plane intake. While it is technically a dual plane (which is needed in order to keep the low end response and driveability required in a street driven car,) they also raised the carb height quite a bit, and straightened out and enlarged the runners as much as possible. The result is a great "hybrid" series manifold for those who want neck-snapping response while still making incredible top end horsepower. Edelbrock rates this manifold as 1500-6500 RPM. These are great manifolds to use with either Edelbrock Performer RPM heads, or our Stealth aluminum cylinder heads, on cars which will see some street as well as dragstrip use. #3: The "Torker" and "Torker II" are an older low rise, single plain design rated at 2500-6500 rpm. Because of the low profile, these are great for applications in which the hood clearance may be limited. Edelbrock states these are for street applications that desire "top end horsepower" with "adequate throttle response." For most applications (especially on the street), we'd run the much newer Performer RPM instead of a Torker or Torker II. but everyone's opinion is different, so we carry them in case you want to run 'em. #4: The "Victor" series is a serious single plain, high rise race only manifold. This is a recently designed intake with computer generated runners, and we've found it to be one of the best flowing, maximum effort intakes out there. Rated at 3500-7500, these manifolds require ported aluminum heads, large tube headers, good size cam, etc, etc. They use standard Holley 4150 flanged carburetors. Generally not recommended for street use. #5: The "Super Victor" is a Victor manifold on steroids. Use for only the most serious of race applications, up to 8000 rpm. These manifolds require very good flowing cylinder heads (325cfm minimum), large cam (preferably a roller), large tube headers (2" minimum, 2 1/4 preferred,) etc, etc. These intakes use the Holley 4500 (Dominator) carb flange. There are versions available with standard cylinder head port windows, and also with the larger max wedge port windows. See below for details. Currently these are available only for "RB" engines. #6: Edelbrock also makes a couple other intakes for special carburetor configurations, such as "six packs" and "dual quads", but they don't consider them part of a "series" so we didn't list them here. These "specialty" intakes are generally for street applications, they usually end their powerband at around 6000-6500 RPM. Currently they are available for "RB" engines only. We list Edelbrock's series of intakes in order of popularity. You'll find Performer RPM's first, then Performers, then Victors, then Super Victors, then Torker's and Torker II's, and then specialty intakes (six packs and dual quads.) Most intakes are available FULLY POLISHED by Edelbrock on a special order basis.

| The Edelbrock Performer RPM manifold
is definitely one of THE best performing street/strip manifolds out there.
They designed the Performer RPM as a cross between a single plain and a dual
plane intake. While it is technically a dual plane (which is needed in order
to keep the low end response and driveability required in a street driven
car,) they also raised the carb height quite a bit, and straightened out and
enlarged the runners as much as possible. The result is a great "hybrid"
manifold for those who still want neck-snapping response without giving up
too much top end. Edelbrock rates this manifold as 1500-6500 RPM. In our
500-512 cubic inch stroker engines, it'll move the powerband down slightly
to about 1000-6000. These are a great manifold to use with either Edelbrock
Performer RPM heads, or our Stealth aluminum cylinder heads, on cars which
will see some street use. This version fits "RB" (413/426/440) engines. We
have another version for "B" engines listed below. And, since this is
Edelbrock we're talking about, you can be assured of two things: The product
is 100% made in the USA, and the quality is second to none. Part No: 146-1000 - Edelbrock Performer RPM Intake Manifold - RB Engines - Price: $ 214 |

| The Edelbrock Victor manifold is a
serious single plain, high rise race only manifold. This is a recently
designed intake with computer generated runners, and we've found it to be
one of the best flowing, maximum effort intakes out there. Look at the
picture, and you can almost see the airflow rushing directly down the plenum
and straight into the heads. Rated at 3500-7500, this manifold requires
ported aluminum heads, large tube headers, good size cam, etc, etc. They use
standard Holley 4150 flanged carburetors. Generally not recommended for
street use, unless you really know what you are doing and have specifically
designed the engine combination to work with this intake. This version fits

| The Edelbrock "Super Victor" max
wedge manifold is the same casting as the above "Super Victor" intake,
except Edelbrock uses their CNC machines to englarge the port opening to a
max wedge port window size, as you can see in the picture. This is a very
serious single plain, high rise race only manifold, basically a Victor
manifold on steroids! Designed to work with cylinder heads which use the Max

| Our ARP polished stainless steel
intake manifold bolt & washer bolt kits are exactly what people mean
when they say "show quality." Made from ARP's proprietary "300" stainless
steel alloy, they are rated at a minimum 170,000 PSI, which is even stronger
than a grade 8 bolt! And, you can't beat the quality, shine and corrosion
resistance of polished stainless. Nothing resists the ravages of weather,
time and even repeated tightening and loosening like stainless. These are
truly maintenance free! They also feature a reduced diameter 12pt head for
easy intake manifold changes and less clearance problems with oversize
runners. Matching polished stainless washers are included. With these being
some of the most visible bolts on the engine, small details like this can
really make a car "show quality." Package includes 8 bolts,
exactly the amount needed for use on big block Mopar engine.
Part No: 129-1026 - ARP Bolt Kit - Intake Manifold - Stainless - Price: $49.95 |

| Our ARP 8740 Chrome Moly intake
manifold bot kits are black oxide coated for good looks and
corrosion resistant. They are rated at a minimum 170,000 PSI, which is even
stronger than a grade 8 bolt! They also feature a reduced diameter hex head
for easy intake manifold changes and less clearance problems with oversize
runners. Matching
black oxide washers (shown above) are included. Package includes 8 bolts,
exactly the amount needed for use on big block Mopar engine.

| The 2205737 intake was used on early 2 barrel 361 and 383 "B" engines. SHOWN FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY, NOT AVAILABLE FOR SALE. |

| The 2205968 intake was used on 4 barrel 361 and 383 "B" engines from 1962 through 1966. SHOWN FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY, NOT AVAILABLE FOR SALE. |

| The 2206000 intake was the RB version of the above intake, used on 4 barrel 413 and 426 "RB" engines from 1962 through 1966. This is a fairly low profile intake, good for extra hood clearance, but not one of the best flowing intakes available. It makes a decent performance intake however, due to its lack of any smog features. $69.95 |

| The 2806178 intake was used on all 440 4 barrel engines from 1967 through 1969, on both standard and high performance models. Because of the years and engine this intake was used on, it is considered one of the best "muscle car" intakes. $89.95 |

| The 2806301 intake was used on all 383 4 barrel engines from 1968 through 1969, on both standard and high performance models. It is the "B" engine version of the above 2806178 intake. Because of the years and engine this intake was used on, it is considered one of the best "muscle car" intakes. SHOWN FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY, NOT AVAILABLE FOR SALE. |

| The 2951666 intake was used on 4 barrel 383's in 1970 and 1971. SHOWN FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY, NOT AVAILABLE FOR SALE. |

| The 2951736 intake is the "RB" version of the above intake, used on 440's in 1970 only. SHOWN FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY, NOT AVAILABLE FOR SALE. |

| The 3512501 intake was used on 4 barrel 440's in 1971 only. 1971 was one of the last years before "smog" equipment began to find it's way into intake manifold design, and this particular casting is generally considered to be the best flowing stock intake available. Visually, (port shape & size, etc) this intake has the most similarities with aftermarket aluminum dual plane intakes such as Edelbrock's performer. SHOWN FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY, NOT AVAILABLE FOR SALE. |

| The 3614014 intake was used on 4 barrel 440's in 1972. $79.95 |

| The 3698444 intake was used on 4 barrel 440's starting in 1973. This was the first year the "spread bore" design came into use. Also, note this is the first year of "EGR," and the beginning of smog junk (oops...we meant to say environmentally friendly technology) SHOWN FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY, NOT AVAILABLE FOR SALE. |

| The 3751728 intake was used on 4 barrel 440's starting in 1974. $59.95 |

| The 3830733 intake was used on 4 barrel 440's in 197XX. $59.95 |

| The 3830947 intake was used on 2 barrel 400's in 197XX. $59.95 |

"RB" (413) Intakes: All the intakes below appear to be absolutely identical. The only difference seems to be in the casting number used. These make great replacement intakes for street use. Their low profile produces lots of torque and allows for tons of hood clearance. |

| The 2899909 intake was used mostly on industrial, truck and motorhome 4 barrel 413's through the late 60's and early 70's. This is a fairly low profile intake. Also notice the two mounting lugs on the front side of the intake not present on car models. $59.95 |

| The 3671276 intake was used mostly on industrial, truck and motorhome 4 barrel 413's starting in the early 70's, when this part superseded the above 2899909 intake. This is a fairly low profile intake. Also notice the two mounting lugs on the front side of the intake not present on car models. $59.95 |

| The 3671535 intake was used mostly on industrial, truck and motorhome 4 barrel 413's starting in the early 70's, when this part superseded the above 3671276 intake. This is a fairly low profile intake. Also notice the two mounting lugs on the front side of the intake not present on car models. $59.95 |
