| The 2206000 intake was the RB version of the above intake, used on 4 barrel 413 and 426 "RB" engines from 1962 through 1966. This is a fairly low profile intake, good for extra hood clearance, but not one of the best flowing intakes available. | The 3512501 intake was used on 4 barrel 440's in 1971 only. 1971 was one of the last years before "smog" equipment began to find it's way into intake manifold design, and this particular casting is generally considered to be the best flowing stock intake available. Visually, (port shape & size, etc) this intake has the most similarities with aftermarket aluminum dual plane intakes such as Edelbrock's performer. | The 3614014 intake was used on 4 barrel 440's in 1972. This was the first year that "EGR" started to be used (likely on California only models), you can see the flat pads under where the carburetor sits. "RB" (413) Intakes: All the intakes below appear to be absolutely identical. The only difference seems to be in the casting number used. These make great replacement intakes for street use. Their low profile produces lots of torque and allows for tons of hood clearance. |
