Timing Chains and Gears We offer an extensive selection of timing chains in nearly every type available, with a level of quality to match every budget. We even carry original Chrysler low mileage used units, and factory and aftermarket gear drives. We have done our best to take detailed pictures and give an honest review of the quality of these chains. How can we offer such nice chain sets for less money than the big warehouse stores? Simple... we keep track of who manufactures what, and we only buy the highest caliber chains made by major gear manufacturers, and... since we specialize in only one engine, we can buy pallets full of one specific item, saving us even more. All chains will fit any big block of any displacement or any year, the only criteria of selection is whether you are going to run a camshaft that attaches to the chain with 1 or 3 bolts. Usually street type hydraulic cams will use one bolt while larger performance solid, roller and racing cams will use three bolts. The factory used three bolts for heavy duty applications such as hemi's and heavy duty truck/industrial. We have organized this page with new chains first. Starting with 3 bolt models, then single bolt models, and finally used chainsets at the bottom. |

AMERICAN MADE 3 bolt billet steel double roller set. Both the 3 bolt cam and
3 way adjustable crank gears are first fully machined out of 1141 billet
steel. After machining, they are run through a vibratory tumbler to remove
all sharp edges. When the sharp edges of other competitors chains are viewed through a
jeweler's loupe (try this yourself..), they are full of scraps and
hanging burrs, many of which will end up in the oil pump and/or bearings
after a few hours of operation. After the tumbler, the gears are hand filed,
and then the crank gear is heat treated to a Rockwell hardness of 50 on the
C scale (nearly twice the hardness of other competing chain sets,) and
then run through the tumbler AGAIN, fully removing all the burrs and scraps
mentioned above. This set includes a Rolon chain that uses heavy duty
independent seamless rollers. The crank gear is also 3 way adjustable,
allowing the camshaft to be installed "straight up" (0deg/factory,) retarded
or advanced. No other manufacturer takes the time and effort to put their
products through as many painstaking (and expensive) manufacturing processes

| And finally, we offer new and used factory
original gear drive setups. Great for correct Power Wagon restorations...
These were used on HD truck 361 and 413's up until 1971. Because both gears
directly drive each other, they require a reverse rotation camshaft, as well
as a reverse rotation intermediate shaft. (We carry both.) The Chrysler part
#'s for these are: crank gear: 1851996, cam gear 1859722. These gears
position the cam in standard 0 deg position, however, there are 3 other cam
gears that are used for different engine and chassis configurations, some
which actually retard the cam timing by either 20 or 33.5 degrees! If you are interested in going
with this setup, give us a call and we will find the correct parts for your
application.
