Timing Covers |

| Shown here is our BRAND NEW
REPRODUCTION Gold iridite plated steel timing cover. Chevy guys have had
these available for years, and we thought it was about time we made 'em for
Mopar guys as well. AND, at a price that compares with the Chevy pieces! The
gold iridite finish looks great, has a strong resistance to corrosion, and
is priced well within those budget builds. Forget about used swap meet or junkyard covers,
(if you can even find them anymore) which often have warped gasket rails,
stripped oil pan bolt hole threads, rust, or have been badly scraped
up by a defective damper. With our beautiful BRAND NEW REPRODUCTION covers,
you can say goodbye to all those problems. These fit all years and models of
big blocks, including Hemis. A great choice for those on a budget who still
want a nice piece for this application. Don't forget a matching Gold
iridite timing tab also.

| Another innovative new 440 Source
exclusive big block Mopar part! These awesome 100% USA MADE fabricated
aluminum timing covers are fully tig welded from super thick 5 gauge
(.182"thick) sheet aluminum. That includes both the flange (for awesome
gasket sealing ability) and the front of the cover (to eliminate flex & keep
those roller cams & buttons exactly where you put 'em.) Factory covers are
stamped from 20 gauge (.036") steel, so these covers are OVER FIVE TIMES
thicker than a factory cover! It's like night and day! The seal insert is
fully CNC machined from billet aluminum and then welded into the cover.
This is the lightest (1.9 pounds), strongest and most trick cover you'll find, hands down! Commonly available cast aluminum covers provide the strength, but they don't work at all with factory style cast iron or aluminum water pump housings. On our test engines, we've found our passenger side aluminum water pump housings work great with no interference at all while our drivers side housings require slight grinding on the back at the area of the bulge where the lower hose attaches. After some slight grinding, they fit great also with no problem. Also, please note: some modification of cam buttons and/or cam attaching bolt heads may be required due to the slightly reduced space between the front of the cam and the back of the cover. This is because of the increased thickness of the front of the cover. If we would have restored this cam to inside cover dimension back to factory, this cover would not have been able to work with cast iron or aluminum type water pump housings. Our only other choice would have been to make the cover out of thinner material, and of course we didn't want to do that! So don't expect this to be a 100% bolt on deal, but it sure is worth the extra effort! A super cool part that nobody else is going to have, but everyone's gonna ask where you got it! These work great with our 200-1073 Billet Aluminum Timing Pointer with no modifications whatsoever required. Please note: Sheet aluminum is very soft! Even sliding it across a table will cause very small scratches. We try to be as careful as possible during manufacture, but occasionally there will be some small surface scratches on some of the covers resulting from normal handling during the manufacturing process. When the sheet aluminum is clamped in a jig or bent in a brake, sometimes the brake will leave a small line or marks where it pushed up against the aluminum to shape it. This is stuff you would find with any fabricated aluminum parts due to the soft nature of aluminum. The vast majority of our customers would never give any of this a second thought, but we have had some people who are VERY particular. If you consider yourself very, very particular about this kind of stuff, we would recommend you have someone either powder coat these covers, or polish them to a mirror finish. This looks great and will remove any trace of surface imperfections. THESE ARE ALSO AVAILABLE FULLY POLISHED - SEE BELOW. Part No: 200-1089 - Fabricated Aluminum Timing Cover - Price: $99.95 |

| Another 440 Source exclusive big
block Mopar part! These awesome fully CNC machined adjustable timing
pointers bolt on to the front of the engine, just like a regular pointer
would. They're fully adjustable, allowing you to set TDC exactly where it
should be with the damper, etc you are using. These work with factory
(7.25") diameter dampers. A super cool part that nobody else is going to
have, but everyone's gonna ask where you got it!
Part No: 200-1073 - Billet Aluminum Timing Pointer - Price: $39.95 |

| Shown above is our BRAND NEW
REPRODUCTION plain steel timing cover, ready for paint or powder coating. In
the past, the only aftermarket timing covers available for the Big Block
Mopar were chrome, which made it very difficult for those who wanted to
personalize their engines with a custom painted or powder coated timing
cover. Stripping and/or sanding the chrome off was a very labor intensive &
expensive process. Those who went with a used swap meet or junkyard cover,
(if they could even find one) often had to deal with warped gasket rails,
stripped oil pan bolt hole threads, rust, or covers that were badly scraped
up by a defective damper. With our beautiful BRAND NEW REPRODUCTION covers,
you can say goodbye to all those problems. These fit all years and models of
big blocks, including Hemis. And now, we've made them available at a very affordable
price.
Part No: 121-1012 - Timing cover - Plain Steel - NEW. Price: $18.95 |

| We also offer this plain steel timing tab
to go along with the above cover.
Part No: 121-1014 - Timing tab - Plain Steel - NEW. Price: $5.95 |

| Shown above is our BRAND NEW
REPRODUCTION chrome plated timing cover. The plating and overall quality on
these is among the best we've ever seen. These fit all years and models of
big blocks, including Hemis. And, they're now available at a very affordable
price.
Part No: 121-1011 - Timing cover - Chrome Plate - NEW. Price: $15.95 |

| We also offer this chrome timing tab
to go along with the above cover.
Part No: 121-1013 - Timing tab - Chrome Plate - NEW. Price: $5.95 |

| We also offer our fabricated aluminum
timing covers in a fully polished version. We hand buff them to a polished
mirror finish so bright and clean, it could literally be used as a mirror.
The ultimate in show quality.
Part No: 200-1096 - Fabricated Aluminum Timing Cover - FULLY POLISHED - Price: $149.95 |

| Our ARP polished stainless steel
timing cover bolt kits are exactly what people mean when they say "show
quality." Made from ARP's proprietary "300" stainless steel alloy, they are
rated at a minimum 170,000 PSI, which is even stronger than a grade 8 bolt!
And, you can't beat the quality, shine and corrosion resistance of polished
stainless. Nothing resists the ravages of weather, time and even repeated
tightening and loosening like stainless. These are truly maintenance free!
On factory timing cover bolts, the lower 4 are larger diameter than the
upper 4, meaning you must change wrench or socket size when changing the
timing cover. These are nice because they feature a reduced diameter 3/8"
drive 12pt head on both the large and small bolts, so there is no need to
change the wrench or socket when attaching or removing the cover for cam
timing changes, etc. Matching polished stainless washers are included. Small
details like this can really make a car "show quality."

Used Factory Timing Covers: |

| Putting aside the difference in timing tabs (which will be covered below,) two different types of factory timing covers were used. Shown on the left is the early style with nearly vertical reinforcing ribs within the "triangle" stamped into the cover. All 2120627 covers we have seen are this style. Most later covers (most 2658454 and later) have the "plain triangle" design shown on left. This type is more common. The rest of the differences between covers have to do with the timing tab. Below we cover the various part numbers. |

| Shown above is cover 2120627, with a
short, straight timing tab which goes up to 15 degrees before TDC, marked in
5 degree increments. Used on all passenger car big blocks from 1960-65.
Part No: 100-1056 - Timing cover - Short straight tab - Used. Price: $39.95 |

| Shown above is a 2658454 cover. This
will have a 3/4" wide curved tab marked in 5 degree increments. This cover
was used on all big blocks from 1966-72, making it the desired cover for
nearly all muscle car applications.
Part No: 100-1057 - Timing cover - Short curved tab - Used. Price: $NA |

| Shown above is a 3698614 cover, used
from 1973-75. This is similar to the above cover, however the length of the
tab has been extended to 1". This was most likely done so that the cover
would work with both cast and forged crank dampers, as 1973 was the first
year of cast cranks in 440's.
Part No: 100-1058 - Timing cover - Long curved tab - 5deg marks - Used. Price: $39.95 |

| Shown above is most likely a 3830797,
used in early 1976. The tab dimensions are identical to the 3698614 cover
above, the only difference is that this cover is marked in 2 degree
increments instead of five. This is a nice cover for those who aren't
incredibly concerned about originality, as the extra timing marks make it a
little easier to dial in exact timing. This type of cover will work with
either forged or cast crank dampers.
Part No: 100-1059 - Timing cover - Long curved tab - 2deg marks - Used. Price: $NA |

| Shown above is a 4027560, used after
1/5/1976 through 1977. Interestingly, the factory returned to
including markings on only the after TDC side, similar to the early covers
with the straight tabs. This tab is longer however, going all the way to 20
degrees. These are easily identifiable by the large "U" shape in the after TDC side of the tab. The 2 degree markings make setting accurate timing
easier. These were always used with cast crank engines, and make great
replacements for later model trucks, ramchargers and motorhomes.
Part No: 100-1061 - Timing cover - "U" tab - Long - Used. Price: $39.95 |

| Shown above is most likely a 4095541,
used in 1978 only. This is very similar to the 4027560 cover above, except
the tab is shorter and only goes to 10 degrees instead of 20. These were
always used with cast crank engines, and make great replacements for later
model trucks, ramchargers and motorhomes. Part No: 100-1060 - Timing cover - "U" tab - Short - Used. Price: $39.95 |

| Shown above is cover 4100436, used in
1978 and 79 on trucks and vans with 440's. This has a unique "tube" that
bolts onto the timing tab. The before TDC side goes all the way to 30
degrees, marked in 2 degree increments.
Part No: 100-1062 - Timing cover - "Tube" type - Used. Price: $39.95 |

| Shown above is a 1858639. These
covers were used on heavy duty truck 361/413's from 1960-77. They will only
work with damper 1858382 (our part #100-1049), which has a reduced diameter.
Notice how the tab is placed further inward on the cover to accommodate the
smaller damper.
Part No: 100-1063 - Timing cover - Long straight tab - Used. Price: $49.95 |
