Transmission Parts and Accessories

Although we mainly specialize in engine parts, we do carry some transmission parts and accessories that may be helpful when pulling out your engine for a rebuild or freshening up. Scroll down for seals, filter/gasket kits and more.

Shown above is our high performance DEEP SUMP transmission pan. Replace your stock original with a higher capacity deep sump pan to hold more fluid. This pan is 1 1/2" deeper than a stock pan. This helps extend trans life and helps keep the trans running cooler.. This high quality chrome plated pan includes a drain plug (see upper left in the picture) for easy fluid changes. Ribbed design helps to dissipate heat better. Lettering reads "727 Torqueflight." A nice performance trans pan at a great price.

Shown above is our early style transmission mount, Chrysler # 2533145. Used on 1966-70 B bodies with automatic or manual trans, as well as some other applications. Please compare your old mount with the picture to verify correct application.

Shown above is our Trans Rear Seal. Easy to replace by just removing the driveshaft. These are the aftermarket type without the boot. Cheap insurance against nasty leaks that saturate the underside of the car with trans fluid. Fits all 727's, all years.

Shown above is our Trans Rear Seal with boot.. Easy to replace by just removing the driveshaft. These are the factory style seals with the extended boot. Cheap insurance against nasty leaks that saturate the underside of the car with trans fluid. Fits all 727's, all years.

Part No: 101-1073 - Trans Rear Seal With  Boot - New. Price: $12.95

Shown above is our Trans Filter Kit. Includes very high quality Fel-pro Felcoprene solid neoprene rubber gaskets. Unlike standard cork, there are no air pockets in these gaskets to allow fluid to "weep" or "wick" through the material. NEVER use RTV (silicone) or any type of glues or sealants with these gaskets. They will not adhere to the gasket and may cause the gasket to move out of the sealing area, which could lead to leaks. If the pan needs to be removed for future service, these gaskets have a coating applied during processing that permits easy separation from the flange or pan without time consuming scraping and possible surface damage. These gaskets also have a "hole lock" feature to help align the gasket to the pan, using the mounting bolts. The holes are smaller than the bolts, which holds the bolts in place during installation, making pan/filter changes much easier, especially in the driveway without a lift. Many people have a tendency to over tighten these, since they don't "feel" like they are compressing. Be careful not to overtorque. According to Fel-Pro, nearly 100% of failures with these gaskets are from either use of RTV (silicone) or over tightening.

These include 2 gaskets for different applications,, so they will fit the following transmissions: A727 / A518 / A500, and the following transmissions if they use the large type filter (shown): A904 / A998.
